“Autumn. The year’s last loveliest smile.”

Melting mascara and smudging kohl, cakey foundation and super-sticky lipstick. Summer days are no fun at all, when it comes to make-up. But I am so glad we have left it far behind and you can now enjoy the fall. That time of the year, when you look super-fresh with some super-fresh fall makeup ideas. After all, you just can’t wear the same makeup you had in summer during the falls. I love fall makeup since it’s all about heavy bold lips, dramatic eyes and warm natural colours that you can play with. There is something about the autumn sky. It enriches the colours that you use on yourself and adds dimension to it! Here I am with few awesome tips to add richness and royalty to the season with your make-up!

1. Mix-up Gold and Rose.

The leaves fall in the fall, turned golden brown. The sky seem to get more dramatic with all sorts of colours, pink, orange, royal blue, crimson. therefore it’s a great idea to play with mixing up golden and rosey pink when doing your make-up. Rose gold makeup is the best way to cuddle the last warmth of the fall days. This combination of colours makes your looksoft, chic and autumnal. Nothing like adding a bit of crispiness and warmth from the air to your make-up, right!? Use pink on the eyelid evenly after which you can dab some golden sparkle OR golden-ish matt shade over the pink. While copper or bronze hues may look too orangish on certain skin tones, gold looks phenomenal on all skin tones. Another way to mix the two is, first apply the rosy pink on your eyelids and then apply gold eyeliner to your upper and lower lashes. Try Maybelline’s Rose Quartz Pink (you can buy it from Amazon). You can also mix pink and golden hues for more striking effect. Rose gold makeup is one of fall’s biggest beauty trend so don’t miss it!

2. Dramatic and A Well Defined Eye Brow.

The era is gone by, when you would think bold and thick eye brows are masculine. Transform your appearance by a well-defined eye brow. I love the way Juhi Godambe does her eyes. She is a true inspiration when it comes to a fall eye-makeup! If you follow Daniel Bauer’s makeup, you will notive his attention to the eyebrows of his subjects. Your dramatic and well-defined eye brow will frame the face and make it more symmetrical. Treat your eyebrows with a bit arched shape with a brush and eyebrow gel. I love Zuii’s organis Eye definer ( you can buy it from Amazon). For scanty eyebrows use soft brown pencil or fillers. the trick is that when you are dramatizing your eye brows, keep your eyes nude with shades of beige and some mascara. This is an absolutely elegant and a very sophisticated fall look.

3. Your Fall Lips.

Go and buy some bold colours this fall. Matte, shimmering, glossy, there is so much to look out for when you are picking your brightest shades of lipsticks! I am truly inspired by Aliza Licht, the fashion publicist. The bold red that she wears, looks so graceful and imagine you are adding so much of colours to the fall make-up kit of yours! This fresh and vibrant makeup makes a contrast with the golden season. Hey, have you tried M.A.C’s “brave red”? (you can buy it from Amazon). To stand out you ought to look outstanding. Use colours on your lips!

4. Matte finish To Your Face.

Bring in, few changes in your make-up completely revolutionize your look in fall season. Since you may trend a bold coloured lip or a pink-golden eye shallow shades or do a dramatic eye makeup, it becomes imperative that you do not go over board with the rest of your face. Autumn is indeed a beautiful season. To achieve a soft make up and present a nude appearance during fall, highlighting your cheekbones, emphasize on your contouring and highlighting spots on your face. Maybelline’s contouring stick ( light and medium) seem to go well with most of the skin tones (you can buy it from Amazon ). Do not over-do! Well if you choose to wear dark make up, let’s say for an evening dazzling party, opt for earth-toned shadow, covering the same with iridescent shade. Just ensure that you apply a nude color of lipstick or gloss. And you are done baby!

5. Take Care Of Your Skin.

You should remember. How much make-up you put, it isn’t your first skin. It is very essential to take care of the skin since the weather gets dryer and the natural moisture that your skin has, it challenged by the autumn breeze. You may not feel as thirsty as you were, during the summers. Be well- hydrated. Drink lots of liquid. Moisturise your skin. If you have a dry skin, use an oil-based moisturiser and if you are a oily skinned person, use water-based moisturising crème. Exfoliate at least once in a fortnight, since there is a tendency for dead skins to surface much more than usual. Be organised when it comes to skin care regime. Cleanse-Tone-Moisturise-Exfoliate. Without fall. Don’t forget sunscreen. Yes! You may not being laying on the beach anymore but skin protection is imperative! Use a moisturizer with SPF 15 at the minimum and reapply with a facial sunscreen throughout the day as needed.

6. Feel Do About Yourself.

You can never under-estimate the power of self-confidence. You may have all the skills to apply your make-up perfectly. You may be putting a lot of time in skin care too. But if you don’t love yourself for who you are, you will look shallow and under-confident. Thereby, giving a chance to people to not trust you, since you seem to be unsure of yourself! Hey guys, please love yourself. When you are happy from within, the skin radiates that happiness. When you trust yourself, the confidence and self-esteem shows. When you love yourself, you allow people to see, your best version

So, enjoy the fall with your fashion, layering and love for make-up. Party all night, but do remove the makeup before you hit the bed! Until then Obrigada, Amigos!
